Working with Rick Smith of Cre8tiv Werks Video Production in Concord, California was a true pleasure. Cre8tiv Werks had a website, but it left a lot to be desired in function and seachability. Rick came to Final Cut Studio for help.

We worked on a design and shared many ideas back and forth on imagery for the site. Once a concept was in place, the rest came together quickly. Changing hosting providers ws part of the project as well due to the lack of response and ervice from their current provider. Cre8tiv Works now has a website that they can modify themselves as the need arises, post blog articles as well as post videos directly to their Portfolio page!

I’m not really sure how I got on their list but, ever since August of last year, I’ve been receiving emails from the American Marketing Association.

It’s evident by viewing their emails that they are not familiar with email best practices. If you look at the two screen shots below, you’ll see that what was intended (in the Online Version) is not what is experienced in the Inbox.

Notice how the Email is missing the background images? Savvy Email Marketers know that what renders in a browser does not always render in email and go through extensive testing across multiple email clients to ensure the best possible experience for all.

Needless to say, I found it very interesting that the American Marketing Association would let content like this out the door without reviewing it for issues like these. I found it even more interesting that they have webcasts on “Email Strategies to Maximize Your Marketing ROI”. Perhaps some brushing up on Best Practices would serve them better.

Northern California’s Cre8tiv Werks Studio has selected Final Cut Studio to design their new website!

Cre8tiv Werks, a video production company, offers scripting & content writing, talent coordination, HD & Standard production, post production, 2D & 3D graphics, duplication and digital signage design and content.

They came to Dallas-based Final Cut Studio for assistance in redesigning their site while giving them the ability to manage the content - specifically videos - on their own. Check back for previews and launch annoucements coming soon!

Dallas based web design group Final Cut Studio released Datafrond.com last month and has just finished phase II of the project. Datafrond, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consulting firm that provides business advisory, process consulting, systems selection and implementation, and user adoption and training services, desired an online resource center to act as both a repository for white papers and case sudies as well as a lead generation form.

Final Cut Studio developed a resource center that allowed for Datafrond to post articles and designate them as requiring login/registration or public, assign tags and publish summaries and images to accompany their resource documents. Registered users are sent to Datafrond as leads to follow up with. You can visit the resource center here.

Final Cut Studio was selected by CAZM Productions of Dallas, TX to bring a fresh perspective to their online presence for DJ Christian Zanni - starting with the logo. They wanted something clean, easily put into print collateral and yet reflected Christian Zanni’s name and style… and voila! The DJ Christian Zanni logo was born!

Final Cut Studio, a Dallas web design company, has just launched Datafrond.com. Datafrond, a Kentucky based PLM consulting firm hired Final Cut Studio to implement a new design already developed for them. The main requirement for them was that they needed to be able to manage the content themselves with a CMS.

The challenge here was that Datfrond already had an existing site developed in legacy .ASP code and needed that to continue to run while the new site was being developed. Being on a Windows web server, Final Cut Studio recommended Joomla! as their CMS as it will run on a Windows platform.

This implementation had its challenges as Joomla! is a native PHP application. The server’s IIS needed to be upgraded to IIS7 along with PHP support installed.

After implementation, Final Cut Studio performed an array of tests prior to removing the old ASP site files from the server.

Google will need to reindex the site for the search functionality to update and there are future functionality requirements to come. But Datafrond couldn’t be more pleased with their new website and look forward to using more of the advanced features Joomla has to offer.

The project is well underway and the design provided by Datafrond has been implemented. Joomla! will be used to manage the site and a resource center will capture lead information prior to emailing links to white papers and other resources.

Final Cut Studio just completed the design of www.waverlyms.com, a newly renovated apartment complex in south Mississippi.

There was not a lot of content and, because the community is still under development, no real imagery to use. Final Cut Studio developed a page for use when there are images of the new complex. You can see it here: www.waverlyms.com/gallery.php.

The site was integrated with PHP to accommodate Wordpress. Wordpress was selected to post News and Events directly to the individual pages.
