Final Cut Studio was selected by CAZM Productions of Dallas, TX to bring a fresh perspective to their online presence for DJ Christian Zanni - starting with the logo. They wanted something clean, easily put into print collateral and yet reflected Christian Zanni’s name and style… and voila! The DJ Christian Zanni logo was born!

More updates will come as we move forward with site design.

Final Cut Studio, a Dallas web design company, has just launched Datafrond.com. Datafrond, a Kentucky based PLM consulting firm hired Final Cut Studio to implement a new design already developed for them. The main requirement for them was that they needed to be able to manage the content themselves with a CMS.

The challenge here was that Datfrond already had an existing site developed in legacy .ASP code and needed that to continue to run while the new site was being developed. Being on a Windows web server, Final Cut Studio recommended Joomla! as their CMS as it will run on a Windows platform.

This implementation had its challenges as Joomla! is a native PHP application. The server’s IIS needed to be upgraded to IIS7 along with PHP support installed.

After implementation, Final Cut Studio performed an array of tests prior to removing the old ASP site files from the server.

Google will need to reindex the site for the search functionality to update and there are future functionality requirements to come. But Datafrond couldn’t be more pleased with their new website and look forward to using more of the advanced features Joomla has to offer.
